How do I register to play for next season?

For assistance with the registration process, please refer to our How To Register page.
For those who are joining us for the first time (and those wishing to purchase new apparel), you will require a North Ryde RSL jersey and baseball cap. Please download and fill out an Apparel Order Form, and return it to northryderslbaseball@gmail.com.
We welcome all returning players, and encourage you to bring along a friend. If you know of anyone who would like to play baseball with our club, regardless of their experience or perceived abilities, please send them a link to the "How To Register" page and have them register using the portal.

What baseball league do you play with?

We play against a variety of teams in the Pacific Coast Baseball League (PCBL).
The league includes teams from around the Northern suburbs of Sydney, including North Sydney, Ryde, Eastwood, Thornleigh and Cherrybrook.

Do players attend training during the week?

Training arrangements are left up to each individual team to arrange.
However, we generally ensure that a training ground is available one night during the week should teams wish to use the facilities. -

What is the minimum age of a baseball player in your club?

Our competition is open to both males and females from the age of 16.

How much does it cost to play baseball with your club?

When you play with us there are two separate fees that you will need to pay:
Player Registration fees
These are reviewed each season, but are consistently some of the lowest fees in the league as we are subsidised by the RSL Club.
Registration fees for the current season are $250.00.RSL Club membership fees
We are an intraclub, and therefore heavily subsidized by the RSL club.
All players over the age of 18 must be financial members of the North Ryde RSL Community Club.
All players under 18 must be a member of the North Ryde RSL Youth Club. -

What equipment do we need to supply to play baseball?

To be able to play with us, you will need to be appropriately attired.
The following is a list of the minimum equipment that you will require:- White pants
- North Ryde RSL Top (available for purchase)
- Blue Socks
- Blue Belt
- North Ryde RSL Cap (available for purchase)
- Cleats
- Safety Equipment (Cup/Box)
- Baseball mitt

What days will I be playing baseball games?

Our games are played predominately on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
In Summer our Home Ground is Magdala Park and in Winter our Home Ground is the oval at the RSL Club. -

What time of the year is baseball played?

The PCBL runs two competitions a year - a Summer and Winter competition.
The Summer competition runs from mid-September to the end of February.
The Winter competition runs from the beginning of May to the beginning of August. -

Do I need to join the North Ryde RSL to play baseball with your club?

We are an integral part of the North Ryde RSL Community (an intraclub) and therefore heavily subsidised by the RSL club.
This helps us to keep our fees down, while offering players of all abilities a chance to join a team and enjoy the sport.All players over the age of 18 must be financial members of the North Ryde RSL Community Club.

The PCBL is a collection of teams predominately from Sydney’s North and North West suburbs.
Throughout the season we play both 'home' and 'away' games.
In Summer our Home Ground is Magdala Park and in Winter our Home Ground in the oval at the RSL Club.
